About Us
Itay Alon
Itay is one of the world's leading and most experienced driving mentors, instructors, and producers.
Every journey is personally curated and led by him.
At the age of 17, Itay drove Formula ford cars in UK. Since then, he has driven and instructed on dozens of racing tracks and hundreds of iconic roads worldwide. Having competed in hundreds of races across all disciplines—including Karting, Gymkhana, Drifting, Formula, Rally, and Rally Sprint—he has established himself as one of Israel’s most versatile competitive racing drivers. A decorated champion, Itay was the 2016 Israeli Rally Sprint Champion (and 2nd in the National Rally Championship). He remains an active competitor, frequently reaching the podium. Beyond the track, he has produced hundreds of motor events and demonstrated performance driving to hundreds of thousands of spectators at major events and the car exhibitions.
He holds official racing licenses and is a certified professional race track manager and racing driving instructor. With a BA in psychology and a deep sense of civic duty, Itay founded Alternativi – Creating a Driving Culture Ltd. 3 decades ago. Under his leadership, the company has trained approximately one million drivers—primarily in Israel—providing hands-on instruction in advanced, defensive, off-road, and road driving, alongside seminars for hundreds of thousands more. At its peak, Alternativi employed a team of 100 professionals trainers and operated as a dominant force in the industry for years.
In 2015, Itay launched the groundbreaking SuperCars Alpine Challenge, and has since led dozens of luxury driving tours across Europe and the United States. In 2017, Itay spearheaded the establishment of the Arad Racing Track, managing its entire licensing and launch process to bolster Israel’s developing motorsport scene. While Alternativi continues to operate under new management, Itay is now dedicated to pioneering new ventures, such as WORLD DRIVING.
